What can I say about the North Carolina golf courses? Well I was playing them with my brother-in-law the other day and they were fantastic. I don’t know whether it is the fact that they are so well cared for, the players have a lot of respect for them or that they have really great design but my score improved massively when I was playing them. I am not normally that happy with the way that I play as I tend to make silly mistakes and often slice the ball. While I was on these new courses, I did not seem to do this so much. I got my best ever score and it was so much fun as well. I think that I just felt good on these courses. There was something about knowing they were good quality courses that increased my self confidence somehow. I managed to pull off shots which normally I cannot make or perfect shots that I am normally okay at. It was really great playing well all the way through the game as normally I start off with a great attitude and lots of determination and then as soon as I start making mistakes I lose that confidence, the game is not so much fun and it seems much harder. Then the mistakes get bigger and more frequent and I just want to give up altogether. It makes me think that I should always play on those courses but they are a bit far away from my house. I did notice that they had some NC Golf homesites for sale and I was so tempted to buy something so that I could visit for long weekends and get my game up together. It would be great to play such a good course all of the time but I am just not sure that I can afford it at the moment unfortunately. I will certain keep it in mind for the future though.

I cannot believe that I have a fancy dress party to go to soon. I did not think that anyone did this sort of party any more but it is a 30th birthday celebration and the theme is the seventies. I guess they thought it would be a lot more fun if everyone dressed up but I am not so sure! I am not sure what to go as, a catsuit will not suit my figure and I am not sure what else is appropriate. I have been searching all over the Internet for some discount costumes as I do not want to pay too much money on something that I am only likely to wear just once. I have found a few cheap things but they are not really appropriate or just not me. What I have decided to do is to look on the Internet for ideas and see what sorts of womens costumes I can find, which are a bit more pricey. Then I might go to the local charity shop and see if they have anything really cheap that I can adapt. I am pretty good with the sewing machine so hopefully I can do myself a really cheap outfit. I do not want it to look too cheap but if I fancy it up a bit, hopefully it will be good and it will certainly be original then. I must make sure that I talk to the other people who are going in order to find out what they are wearing so that I can not only get some inspiration but also make sure that I am not wearing the same. I am sure I can come up with something but I just want to make sure that it is appropriate for the type of party and I feel good wearing it. Wish me luck!
